          Factors Related to Drug Addicts Behavior of
                                      Adolescents

The purpose of this study was to investigate external and internal factors which could  distinguish between
the addicts and the non-addicts, and to analyze the family relationships of the addicts. The external factors
of social environment referred to socializing agents : family, school, friends, and mass media while the
internal factors referred to personality traits of the sample. These factors made up ten independent
variables. The results showed that the addicts had a more correct    belief about drugs, a lower level of
drug self - efficacy, and a more negative self - concept than the non - addicts. The study also found
significant effects of the subjectsí relationships with their mothers, and influences of mass media Key
