Parinya na wonjun. 1993. Variables Relating to Work Efficiency of Elementary School Teachers in Chaingrai Province. Dissertation, M.S. (Behavioral Science) Behavioral Science Research Institute. The purpose of this research was to study the efficiency of teacher' s working behavior. The multi-stage sampling technique was used in selecting 400 elementary school teachers in Chiangrai Province. The instruments used in this research were questionnires on Buddhist belief, Buddhist practice, the Four Sermon practice, the attitude towards Teacher profession, internal external Locus of control, achievement Motive, the Social Support, the working Behavior. Simple and multiple regression analysis, and 2-way analysis of variance were use in analysis data. Results of the study were as follows: 1. Attitude toward teacher profession, achievement motive and social support had sinificant positive correlation with working behavior. 2. Buddhist belief, Buddhist practice, Four Sermon pratice, attitude towards teacher profession, internal Locus of control, achievement motive, and social support were significantly correlated with working behavior. The important predictors were attitude towards teacher profession and achievement motive. 3. Buddhist belief, Buddhist practice, Four Sermon practice, attitude toward teacher profession and achievement motive were better predictors of working behavior in low social supported teachers. 4. High experianced teachers had higher working behavior score than low experianced teachers. 5. Teachers with bachelor Degree and high attitude toward teacher profession had higher working behavior score than teachers in other groups. 6. High achievement motive teachers had higher working behavior score than low achievement motive teachers. | SWU | | BSRI |
