Master thesis, M.S. (Applied Behavioral Sciecnce Research) . Bangkok : Graduate School, Srinakharinwirot University. Advisor Committee : Assoc. Prof . Ashara Sucaromana, Dr. Pannee Boonprakob. The purpose of this experimental research was to study the effects of applying stress management method on stress management for the undergraduate students at Srinakharinwirot University and to study interaction between personality and stress management method. The subjects were 40 freshies from Faculty of Education at Srinakharinwirot University whose personality type A and type B and their scores were the lowest on stress management test . The subjects were then divided into two groups by simple random sampling technique. The first group participated an experimental group of 20 students and the other 20 students served as the control group. Research instruments were practicing activities on stress management , personality test and stress management test. The research design was a randomized control group pretest - posttest design. Analyzing data by applying statistics : the t - test for dependent sample , the t - test for independent sample and two - way ANOVA. The research finding were as follows : 1. The students who participated in the experimental group got their stress management higher than those students in the control group with statiscal significance at .01 level. 2. There was no interaction between stress management method and personality toward stress management of students.
